MIMI & VICTOR'S Engagements

We scheduled this session in the fall planning for the cherry blooms. Earlier spring can be a tricky season to predict and plan weather in the Pacific Northwest, Even still I think we nailed it! It took two weekends because those blooms just hadn't quite popped yet but I also cant help but love the cold, fog, gloomy look so as long as my camera isn't getting wet I can't really be disappointed.  We started at Salmon Spring under the Hawthorne bridge so please hit that read more to get to the Cherry Blooms!

Enough about weather, this couple was so lovely. I've talked a bit about how hard it is to share my portrait session work online because even though I do feel ownership over the images I create I don't always feel the same ownership over the stories I'm capturing. Its complicated and I'm forever grateful to the people who ask me to photograph them because these images become part of my story.
